bestokens uses prepaid credits. You top up, credits land in your balance, and each request deducts the exact upstream cost. We do not add a margin on top of model pricing.
How cost is computed
cost = ceil(prompt_tokens × input_price_per_1k / 1000)
+ ceil(completion_tokens × output_price_per_1k / 1000)
minimum charge per request: 1 micro-USD
All arithmetic uses integer micro-USD (1 USD = 1,000,000), so there is no floating point drift across millions of requests. Your balance is stored as an integer and reconciled exactly.

Crypto top-ups carry an additional 1% to cover on-chain settlement and volatility hedging, shown before you confirm.
Balance rules
- Credits never expire.
- Minimum top-up is $5. Maximum single top-up is $10,000.
- A request that would drive the balance negative is rejected with 402 before it is sent upstream.
- Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, minus payment processor fees already incurred.
